Say Hello To Easy Cooking With Sous-vide & Food Saver

I hate wasting food! It’s just not something I want to be passed on to Reese and it’s a really bad habit that irks me. So I try to plan ahead. I also love buying meat and other produce in bulk, because it allows me to save tons of cash, (which is also one of the ways I save money for travel!) Easy Cooking With Sous-vide
I did some research before deciding how to store my meat because I needed bags that allowed for proper preservation. After doing a little online research, I fell in love with FoodSaver®, but I needed to find out which one of their products would be best for me. I had eventually noticed that food was being ruined due to freezer burn before Reese and I was able to eat it. Buying in bulk not only helps you save up, but it’s also a time-saving trick I learned from my mom. I work all the time and I simply don’t have time to go grocery shopping two or three times a week so I needed help, pronto! Easy Cooking With Sous-vide

So that’s when I decided to go for some FoodSaver® Sous-vide Vacuum Seal Bags and a FoodSaver® FM2000 Vacuum Sealing System. The FM2000 system and the Sous-vide bags are perfect because I can continue to buy in bulk without our food getting freezer burns! With this system, I can keep my food fresh in the freezer 5 times longer. And since it compresses the food I’m trying to save, I can store a lot more in the freezer which is always a plus. But, I can also leave my food in the fridge or pantry twice as long too, because the FM2000 system sucks the air right out of the Sous-vide bags, allowing my food to stay fresh longer. I love the Instant Seal feature because it allows me to stop the vacuum sealing process right away so that more delicate foods won’t get damaged. But of course, the bags come in different sizes so you can pretty much pack as much or as little inside one bag and store it for future use.
Best of all? You don’t have to wait for the Sous-vide bags to thaw out either. You can just grab them from the freezer and throw them in hot water right away. You can use them in the microwave as well. They’re extremely durable, so you won’t have to worry about the Sous-vide bags puncturing or tearing while you cook. They’re also airtight, so don’t expect to see the food inside the bag floating during the cooking process.
As far as vacuum seal bags go, this is a parent’s dream come true because all I have to do is put the food in the bag, hit the seal button, put the bag in, and the FM2000 will provide great suction. Then it will seal the bag for me. So, it’s a win-win for me, and I would recommend this to anyone because it’s simply a must-have item for any household.
