Beat the Heat and Have Happy on Hand! That’s my motto when summer rolls around. I lived in California for my entire life, and I thought I knew what hot was. I put the emphasis on “I thought I knew”. I moved to Arizona, and now I know what heat really is! California’s hottest day is a cool breeze compared to Arizona, y’all. It gets hot with a capital H-O-T here. It’ll suck the breath right out of you on some days. That’s why I’m all about serving up cool, delicious treats for myself, my family, and my friends.
Beat the Heat with Frozen Treats
I may live in a blazing inferno, but I still know how to have fun! Now that my family and I are all geared up to be out and about safely while celebrating every day of summer! I plan on making up for lost time, and part of that is going to be some cool treats to make my get-togethers fun. I’ll be keeping Happy on Hand with tasty frozen treats like Drumstick® Lil’ Drums™, Outshine® Fruit Bars, and Haagen-Dazs® Coffee ice cream. The fam and I will be grilling up delicious food, hanging out in the shade, and enjoying some tasty ice cream goodness this summer, and I cannot wait!
I can’t wait to have kids running around the house and the yard, smoke coming out of the grill, and watching everyone enjoy some frozen goodness while we battle the Arizona heat. It’s what summer is all about for me and my family these days, I’m here for it.

I cannot overstate how much fun anything on a stick is when summer rolls around. Whether you’re a grownup like me or a kid, there’s nothing better than a refreshing fruit bar! My entire family scarves these down.
Haagen-Dazs® Coffee Ice Cream
And last – but most definitely not least – I’ll be serving up Haagen-Dazs® Coffee ice cream for the grownups. It’s one of the best ways to get in your coffee fix and beat the heat if you live in a super hot place as I do. That rich, creamy ice cream is full of coffee goodness. It cools us off and adds a little kick that we all love.

I can’t wait to have to beat the heat with my family and friends. It’s been so long, and we can’t wait to get together and celebrate the warm months. Well, the hot months, really.
