Tips For Surviving Last Minute Holiday Shopping
I love the Holiday! The weather starts to dip (which is something us California’s get excited about). The holiday music starts, I can finally get my favorite coffee and the sales are AMAZING. I get over the top excited about the Holidays and usually start my shopping long before Black Friday.
When December rolls around I’m usually halfway through my holiday list and ready to ring in New Year’s lol. I realize that many of you have not even begun to tackle your list (heck some of you guys don’t even have a list yet lol). It’s cool I get it, Holiday shopping is not for everyone which is why if you’re like most and plan on starting your shopping later, you’re going to need all the help you can get.

Don’t Wait
If you’re reading this and haven’t started your Holiday shopping, log off and do it now. We’re only a few days into December which means you still have time to beat the crowds, catch some great deals and a lot of items are still in stock. As we get closer to Christmas the crowds get savage and the shelves get bare. Don’t be that person standing in line at the grocery store on Christmas Eve buying gift cards. Personalized gifts are a big hit with people so spend the time to put some thought into your gifts. Tips For Surviving Last Minute Holiday Shopping
Order Online and Pickup In Store
I am addicted to ordering online and picking up in store. I love that I can shop from my living room, don’t have to pay or wait for shipping and there’s no fighting the crowds. I get the same great deals and if for some reason I need to return something, there no need to ship it back and wait for a refund, It’s truly stressfree shopping.
I try to order everything online and pick up in store. I was looking for an outfit for a friends holiday party next week. I had been dying to pick up a few things from the LOFT’s new plus size arrivals so when o found out I could order online and pick up in-store I was all about that life.
I picked up this super cute LOFT Plus Crystal Floral Sweater and The LOFT’s Plus Soft Skinny Jeans in LUXE Dark Wash, easily the most comfortable jeans on earth…that actually fit! For a touch of sparkle, I accented the outfit with a Crystal Filigree Cuff and Mini Star Studs that screams holiday!
I’m really picky about my clothes because finding the right fit can be a challenge since I’m in between sizes. The LOFT’s plus size line is designed with curves in mind so my jeans hug in all the right places, don’t gap at the waist and I don’t get the dreaded saggy crotch that’s common in other plus size clothing brands.
The Loft has a great plus size selection of casual, business casual and trendy designs making them my go-to for nearly any event. #LOVELOFT Tips For Surviving Last Minute Holiday Shopping
Go Early
If you can hit the malls at opening you’ll beat most of the crowds and it tends to not get busy until in the afternoon. That means parking won’t be a nightmare and finding someone to help you locate things won’t be as challenging. Plus, most stores restock at night so you’ll have first dibs on all the new items.
