I’m often asked how I came up with the name World In Four Days. Well, as a single mom over 10 years ago I got bit by the travel bug and felt the urge to explore. I was co-parenting at the time and our custody agreement meant our travel days were limited to four days a week. I knew If I wanted to see the world I would have to work with the time I had even if that meant only staying four days. So, I came up with the phrase “Four Days in Paris, is Better Than No Day’s In Paris!” and Reese and I set off to explore the world.
Over the course of 10 years, we’ve spent four days exploring 38 states, and 18 countries and taken countless cruises. Along the way, we’ve shared our adventures with other parents who love travel and that audience has since grown to over 100k supporters from all corners of the world. For many of our followers, we’ve become the go-to resource for all things family travel and an inspiration to other single moms just starting their travel adventures.
In addition to travel, we give our followers a glimpse into what everyday life looks like for a single mom with ADHD who runs a business, while homeschooling a teen who also has ADHD! Needless to say, things can get a little wild around here but that’s what our followers love about us. We show life how it is and don’t sugarcoat it.
